2018 WEDDING FAVORITES
We captured lots of unforgettable moments in 2018… big ones, little ones, romantic ones, serious ones, funny ones, and lots of in between moments when no one realized we were watching. It’s basically impossible to narrow it down to a small set of favorites, but below are a few of mine! And if I had to do it over again tomorrow, I might choose completely different images. But today I was focused on the moments… with a few pretty scenes and timeless portraits mixed in there. Which is pretty appropriate since that’s exactly how I’d describe my style of photography 🙂
Thank you to all of these awesome couples and their friends/families for trusting us with capturing these memories for them!
Charlottesville, Virginia: King Family Vineyards, Early Mountain Vineyards, Veritas Vineyard and Winery, James Monroe’s Highland / Richmond, Virginia: Historic Tredegar Iron Works, Bolling Haxall Hall, Cannon Memorial Chapel, Commonwealth Club, Omni Hotel, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Jefferson Hotel, Hollyfield Manor / Gordonville, Pennsylvania: Stolzfus Homestead and Gardens
LEE & MONICA
These two are getting married next month! So I’m finally sharing their engagement session from last Fall… We followed Lee and Monica and their pup, Cash, around at one of their favorite spots in Richmond- Belle Isle. Also one of our favorite spots. And definitely the coolest place to throw a drone up.
Lee and Monica- can’t wait for May 5th!
2017 WEDDING FAVORITES
When you deliver 1000+ images at every wedding, it’s reeeeally hard to narrow down your favorites to a handful of photos from each one… but I did my best 🙂 For sentimental reasons, artistic reasons, or just because the moment was awesome, here are some of my favorite wedding and engagement images from 2017. A sincere thank you and a giant cheers to all of the amazing couples who let us into their lives and allowed Travis and I to capture these moments!
BEN & ALLISON
I’m pretty sure that the most perfect summer night in Crozet, Virginia starts with wine at King Family Vineyards and ends with watching the sun set behind the mountains while your dogs jump in the lake. After taking a look at the next few photos, I think you’ll agree…
Sooo excited for Ben and Allison’s Highland wedding next June!
